EPL Result: Son scores winner as Tottenham beat Southampton 2-1 at home


Ryan Mason started off with a victory as Tottenham Hotspur beat Southampton 2-1 at home in the Premier League to win for the first time after three matches.

Son thought he scored the crucial 2nd goal for Tottenham but VAR intervened and denied Spurs the goal due to Lucas ‘s offside call .
Tottenham finally claimed a penalty in the 90th minute as Djenepo fouled Reguilon on the edge of the box.
The referee initially awarded a free kick but VAR intervened and changed the call to a penalty.
