Chelsea beats Liverpool: Liverpool failed to earn three points at their own headquarters when they hosted Chelsea in Week 29 of the Premier League, Friday (5/3/2021) early morning.
Liverpool coach, Juergen Klopp (53), spoke up after his team lost 0-1 to Chelsea which was coached by compatriot from Germany, Thomas Tuchel.
Competing at Anfield Stadium, the Liverpool vs Chelsea duel ended with a score of 0-1 for the victory of the Blues, nicknamed Chelsea.
Mason Mount’s goal was scored by Mason Mount in the 42nd minute.
Receiving a long ball from N’Golo Kante, Mount outwitted Fabinho in the penalty box.
Mount then fired a right-footed shot that led to the left side of Alisson Becker’s goal.
Juergen Klopp admits that Mason Mount’s goal at this point made the difference.
“Mason (Mount) ‘s individual quality at that moment made the difference,” Klopp said after the match quoted by Sky Sports.
“It was a fierce match and quite intense,” said Klopp.
“The two teams did quite a lot of dangerous attacks. However, in the end we didn’t score,” said Klopp.
