Erling Haaland UCL: BVB’s Erling Haaland has once again brought himself into the limelight in the Champions League through his fantastic goal-scoring form.

The Norwegian was once again on target in Dortmund’s 2-1 win over Besiktas in their Champions League Group C match on Matchday 1.

H­ÅLAND: UCL Path of Glory ??

His strike turned out to be the winning goal which now takes his tally to 21 goals in just 17 UEFA Champions League matches.

The boy is a phenom in front of goal and each passing day, the whispers of greatness are being echoed across Europe.

Such is the record of Håland in the Champions League that would put the likes of Ronaldo, Mbappé, Messi and Neymar to shame.

Yes, the top bracket players in Europe after 17 matches in the European competition were nowhere to the Norwegian striker.

After the exact number of matches, Cristiano Ronaldo was yet to open his goal-tally in the competition whereas the current PSG trio of Messi, Neymar and Mbappé has 6,7 and 10 goals respectively.

In three seasons of the UEFA Champions League, he has scored 10, 10 and 1* goals respectively.

Erling was the top scorer last season in the UEFA Champions League with 10 goals to his name but could not help his side last the distance.

Borussia Dortmund will hope to see their starlet continue the goal-scoring spree if they are to compete in the competition.
