Fastest International Goals: Romeu Lukaku continued his sparkling form as he scored the only goal in Belgium’s 1-0 win over Croatia in the Euro 2020 warm-up on Sunday.

This was the Belgian’s 60th international goal as he ensured the Red Devils enter the continental event with confidence.

The 25-year-old entered the record books for being the fastest to 60 international goals for Belgium; as he did so in a mere 93 appearances.

Lukaku has gone past some great names as he made this record his own which includes Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Messi.

The achievement outlines courage, desire and willingness to keep the ball rolling.

The Inter forward hopes to help his side shed the underdogs tag and fire them to glory in the upcoming Euros.

Fastest International Goals 

Cristiano Ronaldo

The Portugal captain and goal scorer fired his 60th goal for the country in his 129th appearance.

It was the Group stage match of the 2016 Euro when Ronaldo scored this goal.

Portugal drew Hungary 3-3 while Ronaldo scored a brace.

Ronaldo is currently the highest goal-scorer amongst active players with 103 goals in 174 matches.

Lionel Messi

Messi’s hat-trick fired Argentina to a 3-1 win over Ecuador in the Group A match of the World Cup Qualifiers held in 2017.

The three-goal haul ensured Argentina qualified for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Messi has recorded 72 goals in 143 matches for the country.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

ImageThe Swedish striker reached the 60th goal mark for his country in his 110th appearance.

Sweden played Denmark in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualification play-offs at home which they won 2-1.

Zlatan scored the winning goal via penalty to ensure Sweden won that encounter.

This goal was important as it was one of the vital moments which helped Sweden qualify for the UEFA Euro 2016, where they did not perform to their expectations.

Zlatan has scored 62 goals in 111 appearances as of today.

Neymar

ImageThe Brazilian recorded his 60th goal for the country in just his 95th appearance.

Brazil played a friendly match against Uruguay in 2018 November, which they won 1-0. Neymar was the goal-scorer of the only goal in that contest.

Neymar currently has recorded 65 goals for Brazil in just 104 matches.

The Belgian striker holds the record for being the fastest player in international football to score 60 goals.

His record-breaking moment came in the above match against Croatia as he scored number 60 in his 93rd appearance for the country.

Belgium hopes to see the best of Lukaku as they aim to win their maiden Euro title.
