He was Chelsea’s top scorer in the Champions League this season as he scored 6 goals in 8 appearances.

The title success could well have been the key reason for the extension as his efforts cannot be discounted.

Giroud would look to play more often in the 2021-22 season and help Chelsea to further titles.
