His experience, tenaciousness and intelligence of play has aided Chelsea’s success this season.

Giroud signed a contract extension with the Blues which keeps him at the club for one more season.
It was a surprise given his lack of consistent starts for Chelsea.
The Frenchman only started 8 out of his 17 matches in the Premier League 2020-21 season and scored 4 goals.
He was Chelsea’s top scorer in the Champions League this season as he scored 6 goals in 8 appearances.
The title success could well have been the key reason for the extension as his efforts cannot be discounted.
Giroud would look to play more often in the 2021-22 season and help Chelsea to further titles.
Lucas Vázquez
Lucas Vázquez enjoyed a good season this time and was consistently part of the Real Madrid playing 11. In 24 matches for the club in the La Liga season, he scored 2 and provided 5 goals.
Having come through the Real Madrid youth Academy, Vázquez has proved his worth with his performances.
Carlo Ancelotti would look forward to an association with Vázquez next season as Los Blancos aim to get back to the top.
Luka Modric

His experience and controlled play from the center of the park has helped Real Madrid sustain pressure and taste success.
He won 4 UCL titles in that span and remains a key part of the club’s future.
In this season, Modric appeared 35 times in the La Liga scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists.
Real Madrid finished runners-up and lost the title by a mere 2 points to local rivals, Atlético Madrid.
Neymar

The Brazilian signed a contract extension with the Parisians this season which would keep him at the club till 2025.
Neymar has been prolific for PSG’s success since his move from Barcelona in 2017.

The number 10 was injured for a large part of the season and could only manage to play 18 league matches.
He scored 9 goals and assisted 5 goals during this span which could only help PSG to a runners-up position in the title race.
With the contract extension done, Neymar would aim to pick up and showcase his best for the French side in the next seasons.
