German footballer Toni Kroos retires from international football| check out


Toni Kroos Germany: Toni Kroos announced his retirement from international football with Germany after his side’s exit from the Euro 2020.

The Midfielder called it quits from international football at the age of 31 following Germany’s exit after their 2-0 loss against England in the Round of 16 match.

He finished his career with 106 caps for Die Mannschaft scoring 17 goals and winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Kroos made his debut in 2010 against Argentina on 3rd March. and was included in Joachim Low’s 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup 2010.

ImageThe Real Madrid midfielder’s crowning moment came in the 2014 World cup when his side beat Argentina 1-0 in the finals and won the competition.

With 4 assists at the 2014 event, Kroos was the top assist provided in the World Cup.

He even participated in the Euro 2012, World Cup 2018 and the current Euro 2020 in his career.

Toni’s vision, creativity, crossing and set-piece ability were a feature of his game which reaped rewards.

The 31-year-old announced his retirement via his official Twitter account which stated:
