UEFA EURO 2020 Updates: Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller return to Germany squad, check out


Germany Euro 2020: Mats Hummels and Thomas Müller have both been included in the Germany Euro 2020 squad announced by Joachim Löw.
The two German return to the national set up for the first time since 2018 and are set to play a part of the Germany Euro 2020 team in June.
ImageHummels had a fantastic season for Borrusia Dortmund and helped them reach the 3rd place in the Bundesliga this season.
He scored 5 goals in 32 appearances for BVB and has put on great performances which resulted in his recall.
Mat made his last appearance for Germany in the UEFA Nations League match against Netherlands in 2018 which was drawn 2-2.
ImageHis defensive attributes and leadership adds immense confidence to the team as they look to win their first silverware since 2014.
Thomas Müller returns to the national side as well following successive a great season with the Bavarians.
ImageMüller has scored 11 and assisted 21 goals in the current season which helped Bayern win their 9th successive Bundesliga title.

He scored 15 goals and provided 24 assists across all competitions this season and was the perfect foil to Lewandowski.
Thomas Müller has made 100 appearances for Germany and scored 38 goals.
ImageHe also played last for Germany in the 2018 UEFA Nations League match vs Netherlands.
The Bayern forward may not be scoring the goals at a fair clip but his creativity and experience cannot be discounted.
Hence, it was the right call taken by Löw to get them back into the German set-up.

Germany is paired with Portugal, France and Hungary in Group E for the Euro 2020.
Their first match is against France on 16th June, 2021.
