Groningen come into this one on the back of a 2-1 loss against Borussia Monchengaldbach in their previous friendly match.
Stindl and Matusiwa’s own goal put the German side 2-0 ahead before de Leeuw pulled one back for the Netherlands side, which proved to be a mere consolation goal.
