Hertha come into this clash on the back of a 1-1 draw against VfB Lubeck and need a better performance against Liverpool to keep their unbeaten run in pre-season alive.
After 4 successive wins, they have drawn their last two matches against Hannover and Lubeck.
This will be the German side’s final warm-up match before they begin their campaign with a DFB Pokal match against Meppen post which the Bundesliga opens with an away match against Koln.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have also remained unbeaten in pre-season matches and look to continue with the good form and forget last season’s failures.
The Reds beat Mainz in their last match 1-0 with a Kilian Own goal settling the contest.
This was their first win after successive draws against Innsbruck and Stuttgart. Hence, Klopp’s side can go on a successive winning run.
They will face Athletic Club and Osasuna in their next 2 matches before the curtain raiser against newly promoted Norwich.
Both sides last met in a club friendly match in 2017 which ended with a Liverpool win 3-0.
Goals from Solanke, Wijnaldum and Salah ensured the Reds won the contest.
Line-ups
Hertha:
Korber, Plattenhardt, Stark, Dardai, Pekarik, Ascacibar, Serdar, Dilrosun, Boateng, Lukebakio and Jovetic.
Liverpool:

Prediction: Hertha 0-2 Liverpool
With the Liverpool attacking threat in mind, we expect them to win this one comfortably.
The forward trio will be itching to get cracking ahead of the new season and this is the perfect opportunity to kick start their personal campaigns.
Liverpool’s squad depth and quality is vastly superior to the German side.
