“I regret missing the Wrestlemania 37, You should have been there”: says Undertaker.

Survivor Series 2020 left The Undertaker retirement. The veteran fighter announced his retirement and had his ceremony at the event that saw him born thirty years earlier. For the first time since his career began, The Undertaker had to see WWE’s grand event with the idea that he did not  participate.

A few weeks ago WrestleMania 37 took place, being the first major event since the retirement of the great dominator from WrestleMania (25-2 record). The Undertaker offered an interview to Sports Illustrated where he talked about how he lived this year’s WrestleMania.

“Fortunately, I stayed at home, which made it a little easier. But when the show came on I kept thinking, ‘You should be there.’ It’s a bit difficult once WrestleMania started I started to doubt myself. Much of my story revolves around WrestleMania.

A little emotional tug in the heartstrings watching it this year. But it is time for me to step aside and let this next generation take the reins and go where they go,” acknowledged the veteran fighter.

Despite retiring from Survivor Series 2020, Taker had his last match at WrestleMania 36 where he offered a cinematic match with AJ Styles.

The fighter acknowledged in the interview he knew in the middle of the fight against Styles that it was going to be his last fight. “It became really obvious over the course of that night that I could no longer physically do things the way I wanted to do them, and I refuse to stop our fans.
