ICC T20 WC 2021: BCCI announced its squad for the T20 World Cup 2021 on 9th September 2021. However, the final deadline to submit the squad to the ICC is 10th October. Here are the 4 players who might miss the bus!

Out of the 15 players selected in the ICC T20 World Cup, the form of some players has been poor in the ongoing IPL 2021.

In such a situation, in view of the T20 World Cup, BCCI can once again consider the team.

Aakash Chopra made his call

India’s famous commentator and ex-cricketer Aakash Chopra has thrown light on this issue. He has said that Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the players who are performing extremely poorly in the second half of the IPL 2021.

Talking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra said, “I am talking about Ishan Kishan’s form. This player is not even in the playing XI of Mumbai Indians, and he is included in the 15-man team of India. This is a big thing to worry. As much as I love Suryakumar Yadav, I now feel his form has completely deteriorated.

Then I think of Hardik Pandya, who is not bowling. The selectors said they wanted 3 fast bowlers in the playing XI. We are taking him because Hardik Pandya had promised them he would bowl, but it did not happen.”

Talking further, Aakash Chopra said that Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s form is also worrying. He also said that Shreyas Iyer is currently a part of the reserve players and at some point the management may include him in the main team.

Apart from this, he said that Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson, Chennai Super Kings’ Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar will also be on selectors’ watch.

The ICC has given a decree that if any board wishes to make any changes to their team for the World Cup, then by October 10, the teams can again release an updated list.

Therefore, we might expect some changes to the Indian squad going to the World Cup!
