Ind vs Eng, T20I: Top 5 young faces to watch out against England

Ind vs Eng, T20I: Winning streak continues in Test, but now it’s time for the shorter format of the game. A five match test series between India and England will kickstart from 12 March 2021. All the matches will be played in the Motera stadium, Ahmedabad.

Indian team are looking strong with upcoming sensations like Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel and Ishan Kishan being added to the squad.

All eyes will be on these 5 players added in the team:

1) Suryakumar Yadav:

After so much of consistency in the domestic cricket, SKY as he is referred to will be a great asset for the home team. Playing under Rohit Sharma for so long, Yadav has never disappointed in whatever opportunity he has been given in the IPL
He might be the solution for a complete middle order in T20’s for the Indian side. Definitely a player to watch out for.

2) Ishan Kishan:

Another Mumbai Indians player, along with Surya Kumar Yadav who has shown pure class with his batting skills and wicket keeping too., Ishan Kishan is all set to play his first T20 series for Team India. With a few masterclass innings in Vijay Hazare 2021, he looks in great touch and can come in handy for Indian Team in the series. With a serious need for a wicket keeper in T20’s, it will be a great opportunity for Kishan to make his place in the team.

3) Varun Chakravarty:

After a serious injury and missing out in the first opportunity against T20 series in Australia, Varun Chakravarty will be another player to watch out for. With his art of bowling leg spin, he might give English batsman a hard time on this turning track of Motera stadium. Making his List A debut for Tamil Nadu in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare trophy, He was the leading wicket taker in the tournament taking 22 wickets in nine games. With Yuzi Chahal being in the squad, will Varun be given a chance? This is something to look out for.

4) Axar Patel:

After having a dream debut in test cricket and coming back to international cricket after a gap of three years, Axar Patel can prove to be a go-to left-arm option for team India. Being absolute consistent in the IPL and domestic games, Axar has his bulls-eye set on the targeted area. After his success in red ball cricket, all eyes will be on him in T20 series too.

5) Rahul Tewatia:

An MVP in the IPL 2020, This Haryana leg spinner showed his true colours in batting too. A complete all rounding performance for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL was a turning point in his career. An interesting choice, with some serious talent. Playing domestic cricket and IPL (under 3 franchise) since a while now, Rahul has a decent amount of experience and is surely someone who can lift up the crowd with his entertaining T20 game.
