Al-Hardan broke the deadlock for the hosts before Bheke equalized for India but Humaidan’s effort 2 minutes from time ensured the win for Bahrain.
This was a massive dent to India’s preparations ahead of the Asian Cup Qualifiers later this year. However, a clash against Belarus will help them rectify what went wrong and keep the momentum going.
