IPL 2021: 5 Players Playing potentially Their Last Season in IPL

IPL 2021: 5 Players Playing potentially Their Last Season in IPL. As the intensity of the games and season is picking up pace with new and emerging talents and the IPL moving into a power packed youth showdown, its could be time for the senior players to give way and let the IPL reach its maximum entertainment.

MS Dhoni:

The best captains that India have ever produced and even though he is 39, he is one of the fittest players on the field. Even though have a bad season with the CSK last year, he is up and ready to go grab gold.

It’s a matter of weather he wants to continue or not, by the likes of it dhoni seems to be urged to leave a mark every season and hopefully he can at the end of IPL 2021.

Harbhajan Singh:

The legend off-spinner is one of the most economical bowlers of all time, pertaining to not playing last year, he is waiting to get going once again with CSK and could potentially be his last.

We might see him next year if his performance goes all well then another team may look for him. Many media have speculated his retirement at the end but hopefully we see him again after the 2021 season of the IPL.

Robin Uthappa:

Even though he has been quite the player, Robin has lost the form he was once in and with CSK this year, he will be looking to rejuvenate his excellent form and give a comeback.

Even though he has sounded confident in his abilities to perform the stats has to say the last words. He was once the first player to score 1000 runs in a single edition of the IPL, we just hope he remains.

Wriddhiman Saha:

He had an amazing season with SRH last year, where he scored over 200 runs in just four encounters. He also went on to score two fifties in the tournament. In short, he did enough to play another season for the side. But it all comes down to how he performs this year.

If he up to it, he can conquer the season and continue to play for SRH, the age factor is again an issue, hopefully he pulls himself together and performs.

Imran Tahir:

With his infectious energy at the age of 42, he is still one of the best on the field and a personality to be around off the field too.

The experienced campaigner has been a T20 globe trotter since retiring from international cricket but might not play in the IPL beyond this season. Tahir had won the Purple Cap in 2018 but managed to play only 3 games for CSK last year. He has 80 wickets to his name in 58 IPL matches.
