IPL 2021: CSK is ready to roll, signing from Mooen Ali to Pujara; check out the list of all their signings

Good teams hit the panic button as and when the problems arise, great teams do not even panic. Even after a poor season, they did not get berserk in the player auctions. In the recently concluded IPL player auctions in Chennai, CSK grabbed a lot of good deals. Here is the list of all their signings from the IPL 2021 player auctions:

1: Moeen Ali:

In the 2nd test match of Ind vs Eng, Moeen Ali played a brilliant cameo towards the fag end of the fourth innings. This match was played in Chennai, and selectors along with MSD noticed this knock. They have recognized the all-rounder in Moeen for a price of 7 Crores. Moeen Ali will further solidify the lower-middle order with his explosive batting style and the Chennai pitch will work as a catalyst for his spin bowling.

2: Krishnappa Gowtham:

CSK needed one Indian batsman who can fire down the order and can help share the load in the spin-bowling department. Who better than K Gowtham, who has a lot of years of experience on his resume. Gowtham became the most expensive uncapped Indian player in the IPL auctions’ history when CSK bought him for 9.25 crores.

3: Other Signings:

Cheteshwar Pujara for Rs 50 lakhs, Harisankar Reddy for 20 lakhs, K Bhagath Verma for 20 lakhs, C. Hari Neeshanth for 20 lakhs.

Mr. IPL (Suresh Raina) is back to the squad and must be hungry to get going for his team. CSK has addressed most of its issues, the only growing concern for them was slow legs on the field. They would have addressed it by now and will bring back the old times in IPL 2021.
