IPL 2021 in UAE: Top 10 Key Players who will miss the 2nd Phase of IPL In UAE| Check Names

IPL 2021: Some players who were a part of the first leg of this tournament are not playing in the second leg. Some players have withdrawn their names from the second phase.

The second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) is starting from 19 September. The remaining matches of this tournament will be played in UAE.  In the first phase of IPL, the spectators got to see some exciting matches.

Talking about the batsmen, players like Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Prithvi Shaw performed well. At the same time, Harshal Patel, Avesh Khan, Chris Morris got discussion among the bowlers.  There have been many changes in the teams in the second phase of IPL 2021.

Some players who were a part of the first leg of this tournament are not playing in the second leg. Some players have withdrawn their names from the second phase. Know about the players whose lack the spectators will miss in the second phase.

1. Daniel Sams:

Daniel Sams, who was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team in the first phase of IPL 2021, has withdrawn his name from the second phase. The Australian legend withdrew his name citing mental health. Daniel played two matches in the first leg. Now in his place, Sri Lankan fast bowler Dushmantha Chamira has been included in the team in the second phase.

2. Washington Sundar:

Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar will also not be able to play in the second phase of IPL 2021. In fact, he suffered a fracture in his finger, due to which he was ruled out of the tournament. Washington Sundar is also a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Washington Sundar played six matches for RCB in the first leg. In this, he took three wickets at an average of 39.33.  Now Akash Deep has been included in the team in place of Sundar.

3. Kane Richardson-

Kane Richardson, another player of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team, will also not play in the second phase of IPL 2021. Richardson had recently refused to go on tour of West Indies and Bangladesh as well. Now in his place, England bowler George Garten has been included in the team.

4. Jofra Archer-

Jofra Archer, who was part of the Rajasthan Royals team, will also not be able to play in the second leg due to injury. Rajasthan Royals replaced Archer with New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Glenn Phillips in the team.

5. Finn Allen-

New Zealand’s young batsman Finn Allen, who was part of RCB’s team in the first phase, has withdrawn from the second phase. Allen was included in the squad in the first leg in place of Josh Philippe.  Now the franchise has included Tim David in the team instead of Allen.

6. Jos Buttler-

Jos Buttler of Rajasthan Royals team has also withdrawn from the second leg of the tournament. He has decided to withdraw from the tournament to spend time with his family. Rajasthan Royals have included Evin Lewis in their team in place of Jos Buttler.

7. Andrew Tye-

Fast bowler Andrew Tye, a player of the same team of Rajasthan Royals, also decided to withdraw from the second phase of IPL 2021. Rajasthan Royals have included South African chinaman bowler Tabrez Shamsi in their team instead of the tie.

8. Pat Cummins-

Kolkata Knight Riders player Pat Cummins will not play in the second leg. The exit of Australian fast bowler Pant Cummins is a big blow for Kolkata Knight Riders. In the IPL 2020 auction, KKR bought Cummins for a whopping price of Rs 15.5 crore. At the same time, Cummins took 9 wickets in seven matches in the first phase of IPL 2021 and also scored 93 runs while batting.

9. David Malan-

The world’s number one T20 batsman David Malan is part of the IPL team Punjab Kings team. However, he withdrew from the second phase citing a busy schedule. The England player played a match for Punjab in the first leg, in which he scored 26 runs.

10. Jonny Bairstow-

English batsman Jonny Bairstow, who played in the first leg for Sunrisers Hyderabad, also withdrew the second leg. At the same time, Bairstow played seven matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first leg, in which he scored 248 runs at a strike rate of 141.71.
