IPL 2021 New Rules: BCCI announces new rules for IPL 2021 was stopped in the middle due to the infiltration of Covid-19. Now the rest of the tournament is set to start on September 19 in the UAE.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a regulation on the tournament. During the tournament, the BCCI has formulated the rules keeping in view the safety of the players and the corona rules.

One of the important rules is that the batsman hits the ball with sixes, fours and sends it to the stand or off the field.  So that ball will replace. Also the outgoing ball will be kept completely sanitized.

According to the English newspaper Indian Express following the BCCI rules, “If the ball goes into the stands or out of the stadium. So the fourth umpire will give him a new ball to play with.  Also, the ball from outside will be sanitized and placed in the ball next to it.”

According to the BCCI, after research on the balls, the chances of contracting the corona virus are very low. However, since the BCCI will not take any risk. The BCCI is using this sanitization option. Last year, some players were stopped in the tournament due to coronary heart disease.

Therefore, the BCCI does not want to take any such risk this year. The BCCI is considering inviting spectators for the tournament. And even if spectators come, they will have to follow strict rules.

Six days of strict separation

All the support staff, including the players coming to the UAE for the IPL, will have to complete a six-day separation period.

It is also mandatory for them to undergo three corona tests and all three to be negative. Before entering the bio-bubble.  While Indian players in England will not have to follow the rules of segregation. They will have to follow the rules of bio-bubble.
