Rishabh Pant:

The newly appointed captain for DC, Rishabh will look to leave a mark in this season of the IPL. Having an impressive form will look to use it against CSK. Pant is a sensation in all formats having proven it in the Austria and England series and in the previous IPL where he had an explosive strike rate of 162 with 684 runs on the board.

Shikhar Dhawan:

The opener for DC with his tremendous form in the ODI series and previous IPL season will look to make a remarkable impact in the 2021 IPL with DC. With 618 runs in 17 matches, had an average of 144 and was the second highest run scorer of the previous IPL will look to show his form against CSK tonight.

Prithvi Shaw:

After a thundering show in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Shaw will be in full form against CSK, although did not have a great IPL 2020 with only 228 runs including 2 half-centuries, will look for redemption in this season and put his name up in the running for the orange cap.

Sam Curran:

The all-rounder who almost took England to victory in the ODI series against India. It will look to continue that same momentum with CSK against DC. In the previous edition, he took 13 wickets off 14 games and an economy of 8.19 and scored 189 runs will have the same form and with the captaincy of MS will surely have an advantage.

Faf du Plessis:

With a very poor performance last year with CSK, will look to regain his tremendous form again. Having 4 half-centuries and scoring 449 runs with an average of 40 and strike rate of 140 will seek redemption. It is going to be important season for him ahead of WTC T20.
