IPL 2021: Top 5 Players who can cross 5500 IPL runs this April (Check stats- Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, Warner, Dhawan, De Villiers)


The 14th edition of IPL is going to begin in April 2021. Teams have already announced the retained players’ lists. The auction for the remaining players is set to take place on 18th February in Chennai. There is only one player who has IPL runs in excess of 5500, you guessed it right ‘ Virat King Kohli’.

With a bunch of individual and team performances in IPL 2020, several records broke, and yet many more will be sent for a toss this April. Suresh Raina had to miss the IPL 13 and he is now behind Virat Kohli amongst the IPL top run-scorers. Here is the list of the top five players who can reach 5500 IPL runs by the end of IPL 2021.

5: AB De Villiers: 4848 runs in 156 innings-

To no one’s surprise, RCB has retained the services of Mr 360 degrees. AB looked in fine form in the latest IPL edition and was crucial in the team’s victories on many occasions.

4: Shikhar Dhawan: 5197 runs in 175 innings-

Shikhar Dhawan was one of the reasons Delhi played so well in the IPL 2020. Gabbar sits on the second spot on the list of most fifty-plus scores in IPL

3: Rohit Sharma: 5230 runs in 195 innings-

Rohit Sharma is the most successful captain in the IPL. Hitman needs just 270 runs to get to the 5500 IPL runs.

2: David Warner: 5254 runs in 142 innings-

In almost everyone’s all-time IPL playing eleven, David Warner has been the prime example of consistency and explosiveness. Warner will be thirsty to lead his team to another title this year

1: Suresh Raina: 5368 runs in 189 innings-

Despite missing the whole season last year, Raina was retained by the CSK. He has always been in a menacing mood on pitches, and it would be interesting to see his comeback
