The retention rule for IPL Auction suggests that any franchise is allowed to retain 3 players which means RTM is used to retain only 1 overseas and one uncapped player.

-Rajasthan has been struggling to find momentum with their inconsistent batting line-up. A lot of shuffling has been confusing for the role clarity of any player. Yadav will chip in their middle order offering a lot of consistency as well as dependency.
3.Punjab Kings
– Punjab Kings usually plays Gayle in the middle order with Hooda and others, Surya will be their answer to the future dependable player who will provide flexibility and power hitting in the middle overs as we have seen them struggling once the top order fails.

-Bangalore will find Kishan to boost their Middle order alongside ABD and Maxwell. This will also help them strengthen their core where Kishan can also keep instead of ABD taking the responsibility behind the wickets.
3. Kolkata Knight Riders
-Kishan’s presence with the Knight Riders will be the answer to the role of future wicket keeper alongside his capability of offering flexibility with the bat. KKR will be keen to take Kishan as he will provide a good balance to the side.
