1. MS Dhoni
Chennai Super Kings is truly blessed to have MSD from the start but soon it will be time that he steps out. It’s quite possible for Dhoni to be playing his last IPL in 2022 and that sounds even more heartbreaking knowing that he doesn’t play International Cricket anymore. His one of the best innings in IPL is 84* against RCB in just 48 balls in the season when CSK made a comeback in 2018.
2. Chris Gayle
Gayle has worked hard on his fitness but there’s always time for retirement even for the universe boss. He has played crucial roles for franchises he has played and currently is part of Punjab Kings. It’s hard to put his best innings but certainly, his 175 runs against Pune Warriors in 2013 tops the list.Â

3. Amit Mishra
Amit Mishra is a legendary bowler with his wicket-taking abilities. He missed out the previous season due to injury woes playing for Delhi Capitals. He has always been an asset for DC. It’s possible to see him playing his last IPL in 2022. Undoubtedly his best performance is his 3rd hat-trick performance against Pune Warriors. This made him the first-ever player in the history of IPL to have a triple hat-trick record
4. Harbhajan Singh
Harbhajan Singh is an impactful bowler and always delivers for his team. He has had a long run in IPL with memorable wickets that fans always cherish. It’s possible that he plays his last IPL in 2022. Probably his best performance is when on the opening day of IPL 2019, he took 3/20 against RCB from his four overs and won the Man of the Match title.

5. Imran Tahir
Tahir’s celebrations are as entertaining as his wickets. His googlies are threatening to the batsmen and have led his team to victory a lot of times. His name is third from CSK in this list. It’s highly likely for Tahir to play his last season in IPL 2022. One of his best performances is grabbing 4 wickets against KKR in 2019 giving away just 27 runs.
