Here are the 4 players we think will be retained by RCB:
#4 – Virat Kohli
The man himself has said that he will finish his IPL career at RCB. We also don’t expect the franchise owners to let go of him. Even though he won’t captain the side anymore, his wealth of experience and his supreme batting ability still make him the first pick to be retained!
#3 – Devdutt Padikkal
The young prodigy has had two back-to-back stellar seasons with this team, scoring 400+ runs both times! So it is a no-brainer for them to retain this superstar!

#2 – Yuzvendra Chahal
The leggie has become somewhat of a legend at this franchise. He has done very well for them over the years, and we expect him to continue to wear the red and black jersey even in the next season as well!
#1 – AB de Villiers
Because they can always buy Maxwell back, can’t they? Jokes apart, although de Villiers had a poor showing in the UAE leg of IPL 2021, he is a phenomenal batter and has been a pillar for RCB batting alongside Kohli for more than a decade now.
We don’t see him going anywhere else in this Mega Auction! Like his longtime friend Kohli, we expect him to retire at RCB as well!
