The Rajasthan Royals
This team under the captaincy of Share Warne, became the first team to win the inaugural of the IPL in 2008. Post this, Rajasthan Royals failed to make a final entry in the remainder seasons of the IPL.
The best performance came only in 2013, but they have to settle for 3rd place. The team was suspended for two years — 2016 and 2017.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad
The Sunrisers Hyderabad came into being after Deccan Chargers Hyderabad were terminated from the IPL. The franchise made its first appearance in 2013 and made it to the playoffs (4th position).
