Juventus wins Coppa Italia: Juventus won the Coppa Italia 2020-2021. This success was obtained after the Old Lady defeated Atalanta in the final.

Atalanta vs Juventus duel took place at the Mapei Stadium, Thursday (20/5/2021) in the morning IST. The match ended 1-2 to win the Bianconeri.

Two Juventus goals were scored each by Dejan Kulusevksi (31 ‘) and Federico Chiesa (73’).  Meanwhile, Atalanta was only able to reply through Ruslan Malinovskyi in the 41st minute.

Ronaldo made a slick record with Juventus’ success.  Ronaldo for the first time won the Coppa Italia.

That success also made Ronaldo managed to win all trophies at club level in the top three European leagues, namely England, Spain and Italy.  Ronaldo did it with Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus

Gianluigi Buffon the Legend

This Juventus success also made Buffon carve a new record.  Buffon became the player most often won the Coppa Italia.

Buffon has lifted the Coppa Italia trophy six times in his career.  Once with Parma and five in the Juventus shirt.

Interestingly, Buffon won the Coppa Italia for the first time in 1999 with Enrico Chiesa at Parma.  Now the latest Coppa Italia trophy has been won with Enrico’s son, Federico.

Andrea Pirlo Entered the History Book

Andrea Pirlo is also in the history books of Juventus.  He became the fourth person to win the Coppa Italia as a Juventus player and coach.

Pirlo followed in the footsteps of Luis Monti, Carlo Parola and Dino Zoff.  They were also able to win the Coppa Italia as Juventus players and coaches.

This Coppa Italia title is the second title presented by Pirlo for Juventus.  Previously, he managed to bring Juventus to win the Italian Super Cup.

Atalanta Favorite opponent Federico Chiesa

Federico Chiesa scored a goal against Atalanta in the 73rd minute.  Chiesa’s goal was the decisive victory for Juventus in the Coppa Italia final.

Atalanta is arguably Chiesa’s favorite opponent.  La Dea is the team that Chiesa has scored the most goals against (5 goals)

Chiesa also made a unique note in the success of this Juventus.  The 23-year-old winger follows in the footsteps of his father, Enrico Chiesa, who also won the Coppa Italia.
