La Liga news: Luka Modrić agrees contract extension, will stay till 2022


If reports are to be believed, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić has agreed a contract extension which will keep him at the club until 2022.
The 35-year-old Croatian has performed impressively for Los Blancos this season with his consistency and match-winning abilities due to which Zidane has ensured that he stays another season.
Modrić has played 40 matches this season across all competitions and has scored 4 goals and provided 6 assists.
The contract extension would mean the midfielder would complete 10 seasons at the club since his arrival from Spurs in 2012.
