Levante held Barcelona on 3-3, Barcelona failed to reach on top.Â
Levante 3-3 Barcelona: Barcelona and Levante drew 3-3 in the 2020/21 Jornada 36 La Liga party which took place at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia, Wednesday (12/5/2021) in the morning IST.
Barcelona won the first two goals, each through the actions of Lionel Messi and Pedri. The hosts also managed to equalize the score thanks to goals from Gonzalo Melero and Jose Luis Morales.
Ousmane Dembele was once again able to give Barcelona the lead. Unfortunately, Barca’s victory halted after the hosts scored a goal through Sergio Leon’s action.
Thanks to this result, Barcelona with a collection of 76 points for a while only moved up to second place in the standings. Meanwhile, Levante is ranked 13th with 40 points.

First round
Barcelona tried to immediately appear kicked off from the early minutes. Unfortunately, a number of opportunities the visitors still got failed to be maximized into goals.
Barcelona finally opened the scoring in the 25th minute through Messi’s action. The first time volley shot by La Pulga was unable to be blocked by the host goalkeeper, Aitor Fernandez.
Nine minutes later, Pedri scored a goal to double Barcelona’s lead. Receiving Dembele’s assist, Pedri calmly cheated the ball into a goal. Barca’s two-goal advantage lasted until halftime.
Second round
Returning from the locker room, Levante tried to appear more courageous to come out to attack. As a result, the hosts managed to equalize the score to 2-2 after scoring two goals in a span of two minutes.
After Melero’s header broke into Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s goal in the 57th minute. It was Morales’ first time volley that successfully turned into a goal two minutes later.

Unfortunately for Levante, this score only lasted for five minutes. Because Dembele successfully brought Barcelona back to the lead thanks to his hard shot that slammed into Fernandez’s goal.
Levante once again tried to catch up with the remainder of the game. Their efforts also paid off through Sergio Leon’s cheat in the 83rd minute.
No additional goals were created by the two teams until the long whistle sounded. The 3-3 draw was the final result of this match.
