Lord’s crowd thrown Campaign ‘Cork’ on KL Rahul, Virat Kohli shows anger says, throw them back

KL Rahul Cork: Cricket fans in England are generally considered to be quite decent. But, on the third day of the second test match against India, he behaved quite the opposite.

Team India’s opener Lokesh Rahul was fielding on the boundary. Then several spectators threw champagne corks at him. Apart from this, a spectator also entered the ground during the match.  Security personnel escorted him out.

What happened in the 69th over

This incident of misbehavior by the spectators happened during the 69th over of England’s innings. Then Mohammed Shami was bowling to England captain Joe Root. Due to this the game also stopped for some time.

During the match, an English spectator wearing the Indian team jersey entered the ground.

Captain Virat got angry

Team India captain Virat Kohli was fielding in the slips at that time. It can be seen in the video footage that the captain is asking Rahul to throw the corks back from where they came. Now it remains to be seen whether the England Cricket Board takes any action against these rowdy spectators.

KL Rahul has been in strong form in this series. He scored 129 in India’s first innings at Lord’s Test. In the Test match at Nottingham’s Trent Bridge, Rahul scored the best half-century.
