Marcus Rashford may miss Thurday’s Europa League clash against AC Milan following ankle injury


Manchester United have been dealt with another injury blow as scans have revealed bruises around Marcus Rashford’s ankle, who may miss the first leg of their UEFA Europe league match against AC Milan on Thursday due to an injury sustained on his ankle during the Manchester Derby.
Rashford was taken off as a precautionary measure in the 73rd minute when he took a knock on his ankle while sprinting back to make a tackle as City moved forward.

The manager told the official club media, “It is one of them. It was a great recovery run, a recovery sprint, he saved maybe a goal, so he sacrificed himself for the team.’’
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already has Edison Cavani on the sidelines who missed the Manchester Derby and he will be sweating on his fitness.
He will hope to have the Englishman back as the Red Devils enter an important set of fixtures for which his requirement is paramount.
Manchester United play AC Milan next on Thursday before they host West Ham United, who are in good form this season, on Sunday in an all-important clash at Old Trafford.
