Money is the first priority for Brock Lesnar, then comes Wrestling: Kurt Angle.

WWE News: It has now been more than a year since the last appearance, in that of the WWE, for Brock Lesnar.

With a brilliant career in wrestling, alternating with that equally lauded on the UFC octagon, the 5-time WWE champion and 3-time Universal champion would appear to have finished with the Stamford federation after his defeat at WrestleMania 36 to Drew McIntyre.

We can never exclude a priori his return in the future, but according to many it is all a question of money as far as Lesnar is concerned; one spokesperson for this thought is Olympic champion and Hall of Famer Kurt Angle.

Money first

During the latest edition of The Kurt Angle Show,  Kurt Angle talked about Brock Lesnar and his farewell to WWE in 2004, before moving on to NJPW. According to the Olympic champion, for Lesnar it’s all about the money:

“Brock contacted me to work in Japan, and so I ended up in NJPW. I had a phenomenal match against him and I snatched the world title from him. Brock, after the match, said, ‘Hey, when we get to the press conference, tell them you want a rematch with me.’

I didn’t know at the time, but I had heard that Brock was making a ton of money from those matches, he was staying champion as much as possible and once they decided to take the title away, he immediately wanted a rematch.

He wouldn’t do it with anyone, but he knew he could contact me so he could get the rematch right away to make more money. For Brock it’s all about money, he’s a very strict businessman and it’s all about money. First comes the money, then the passion for him “
