Longest unbeaten streaks in international football| Check out who makes the cut

Most wins in football: Italy secured their place in the Euro 2020 finals after beating Spain last night and are within touching distance of another record.

Azzurri’s win against Spain made it 33 matches since the last time Italy were beaten in an international match way back in 2018.

The significance of this record will be taken lightly as Bonucci and Co have a bigger job in hand.

If Italy manage to clinch the Henri Delaunay Trophy on 11th July in front of a packed Wembley; they would consider this a record as part of their triumph.

Being unbeaten for a number of matches takes a lot of doing and can mentally drain a side as well.

But to keep the morale, confidence, consistency on top and keep getting the job done is no easy task and the ones who do so create history.

Due to Italy’s unbeaten reign, we look through the top 5 sides whose unbeaten streaks ensured they left their impression in football history.
