Brazil 4-1 South Korea: A first half masterclass from the 5-time champions was enough as Brazil beat South Korea 4-1 in their RO 16 match in style on Monday.
Junior, Neymar, Richarlison and Paquetá scored for Brazil in the hammering while Paik pulled one back for Korea, as the Asian side’s journey ended.
FIRST HALF
The masterclass began in the 7th minute when Junior coolly slotted home from Neymar’s devilish grounder pass to start the party.
Richarlison was brought down in the box as Brazil earned a penalty, which was dispatched by Neymar. The strike was his 76th in international colors and 1st of the tournament.
Richarlison scored the third of night when he combined with Marquinhos and Thiago Silva to score a magnificent team goal, ripping through the Korean defence.
Paquetá made it 4-0 in the 36th minute when he slotted away Vinicius’ dinked pass after another combination play with Neymar down the left flank.

The game was over by the first half whistle as the Brazilians enjoyed a hearty performance and showcased their magic through their brilliance.
SECOND HALF
Korea got their consolation effort in the 2nd half when Paik unleashed a fine volley past Allison to bring some joy to the Asian team’s fans. Brazil cleared the corner which fell to Paik.
The 25-year-old took a touch before slamming a clean strike past Allison as Brazil conceded a 2nd goal of the tournament. It did not matter as the rest of the half was another breeze with Brazil ensuring a comfortable 4-1 thumping win.

Brazil will face Croatia on Friday in their Quarter-Final clash while Korea is on the next flight home.
