WWE Raw: During the Monday Night RAW broadcasts through the USA Network, superstar Damian Priest played his first singles match in the main WWE cast.
Following a return to action at the Men’s Royal Rumble the night before, Damian Priest was introduced by Bad Bunny for his first meeting within the main cast. Priest battled against The Miz for several moments, managing to overcome him despite the interventions of John Morrison. Thanks to the singer’s response at ringside, Priest managed to connect his The Reckoning over The Awesome for the victory on a count of three.
The wrestler is known on the independent scene as Punishment Martinez was hired by WWE in October 2018. Under the new name Damian Priest, this fighter made his debut in NXT and managed to climb positions among the public until he became a favorite of the yellow show.
Priest won the North American Championship in August 2020 and held it for 67 days before losing it to Johnny Gargano. His last match in NXT occurred at New Year’s Evil earlier this year, where he was defeated by Carrion Kross.
