Operation day completed, back home to rest: Jonny Bairstow updates fans on injury
England batter Jonny Bairstow confirmed on Wednesday that his leg surgery has been completed successfully and is heading back home for rest.
Just hours after the announcement of England’s ICC T20 World Cup 2022 squad, Bairstow was ruled out of the rest of the summer season.
