MATCH PREVIEW:
QPR come into this clash on the back of three successive wins against Portsmouth, Manchester United and Cambridge. Their recent being a 2-1 away win.
Chair and Dykes found the back of the net for the Rangers while May pulled one back late on for Cambridge.
With three wins out of three, QPR look in scintillating form ahead of their Championship season. The win against Manchester United 4-2 sparked a spring in their step as the Red Devils fell way short of their opponents.
Meanwhile, their opponents Leicester have not been in good form in pre-season losing both matches against Burton and Wycombe.
Horgan scored the only goal for the League 1 side as they clinched the win.
Leicester face Villarreal in their next and final pre-season match before the Community Shield Final against Man City next week.
They will want to get some form in the bag along with the goals before they begin their next season.
Brendan Rodgers’ side missed out on top 4 for successive seasons and will be under pressure to perform well this season.
Both sides met each other last in the 2015 EPL season where Leicester won 5-1 with Vardy, Albrighton, Ulloa, Cambiasso and Kramaric scored.
Line-ups
QPR:
Archer, McCallum, Dunne, Dickie, Kakay, Adomah, Ball, Chair, Thomas, Austin and Dykes.
Leicester City:
Iversen, Pereira, Fofana, Soyuncu, Thomas, Soumare, Ndidi, Maddison, Iheanacho, Vardy and Daka.
Prediction: QPR 1-1 Leicester
We expect a fascinating contest between both sides as they are under pressure to do well ahead of the season.
Leicester are looking for their first win but with QPR’s good form, we see them going toe-to-toe and get a desirable result.
