MATCH PREVIEW:
Real Madrid will look to enter the La Liga season with confidence as they face Milan in their final pre-season friendly match on Sunday, with a chance to prove a point.
Los Blancos lost their opening pre-season match against Rangers 2-1 last week and will need a confidence boosting victory headed into the new season.
Rodrigo opened the scoring for Los Blancos but second half strikes from Sakala and Itten secured the win for the Scottish side.
Real finished last season with a runners-up spot and a UCL semi-final position. They will look to mount a challenge this season as they look to win back their title.
Carlo Ancelotti took over from Zidane and will once again look to stamp his authority on the men in Black and White on his return.
On the other hand, Milan has grown as a unit under Pioli and will once again be strong favourites to perform well following runners-up finish in the Serie A last time.
Milan have drawn successive pre-season matches against Nice and Valencia (lost on penalties). Hence, they too aim to finish their preparation with a solid performance.
The Rossoneri will face Greek side, Panathinaikos in their final match next Saturday before they begin their campaign against Sampdoria.
Ancelotti’s men are in action next week against Alaves.
Both sides met in a friendly match in 2018 last where Real Madrid won 3-1. Benzema, Bale and Mayoral found the back of the net for Real while Higuain scored for the Italian side.

Prediction: Real Madrid 1-2 Milan
Both sides are in desperate need for a win and we can expect a closely fought clash since a number of players will be unavailable on either side.
Benzema’s absence will mean the youngsters need to show their mettle for Real while Milan will look to new signing, Giroud for the goals.
Milan should shade this one on the basis of better form in pre-season.
