Robert Lewandowski equals Gerd Müller’s 50 year old Bundesliga record


Lewandowski 40 goals: Robert Lewandowski equalled Gerd Müller’s record of 40 goals in one season in the ongoing match against Freiburg.
ImageThe Polish international scored a penalty in the 26th minute to equal the record set by Müller in 1971-72 Bundesliga season.
Lewandowski and Bayern Munich would hope that he scores number 41 in the second half and creates history. Robert has also added 7 assists to his tally.
