Ronaldo equals Ali Daei’s record of Most International Goals in Football, Check

Portugal vs France: Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals when Portugal  faced France on the third matchday of Group F Euro 2020 , Thursday, June 24, 2021. Both goals were born from penalty kicks.

Thanks to two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo , the match played at the Puskas Arena ended 2-2. This result was enough for Portugal to qualify for the last 16 of Euro 2020 as the best third place.

This is Ronaldo’s fifth goal scored at Euro 2020. While two other goals were packed against Hungary and one goal when they were defeated by Germany.

In addition, Ronaldo has now scored 109 goals for Portugal. The figure means the five-time Ballon d’Or winner equals Iran legend Ali Daei’s world record for  all-time leading international goalscorer.

Ronaldo has a great chance to surpass Ali Daei’s record and become the most fertile player at the national team level. Because, Portugal stepped into the knockout phase of Euro 2020.
