Ronaldo had created history for Real Madrid during his 9-year-stay with the Spanish side.

The Portuguese scored 450 goals across competitions in 438 appearances alongside winning a host of trophies.

His individual honours with the club are exemplary as well with 4 Ballon D’or titles to his name.

The respect and reputation built with the club during that time could be a reason for him to have if not a long-term, but atleast a short stay with the La Liga champions.

His relations with the staff and management with the club was always top-notch; which could accelerate a move given the stage of his career.

Support and Inspire Youngsters

Ronaldo’s an inspiration to many footballers and these players can sponge off enough knowledge and technicalities from him.

The Frenchman endured a thrilling run last season across competitions as his goal-scoring prowess led RMA to a La Liga and UCL title.

He also won his first Ballon D’or title as well but faced a moment of sadness soon after when he was ruled out of the WC due to injury whilst in Qatar.

This season Benzema has managed 5 goals in 7 La Liga appearances and has not shown the 2021-22 form.

Due to age, Benzema could be entering a tough time with fitness and injury concerns. This gives Ronaldo a perfect opportunity to show that he can still be a potent finisher amongst the European elite clubs.

Cristiano’s addition can give Real Madrid the goal-source if Benzema is not able to play full steam.

The 5-time Ballon D’or winner still has the fitness of a youngster and if given the opportunity can be the lethal finisher.
