Inter Milan beats Atalanta: The Italian League event which took place last night, Tuesday (9/3/2021) in the morning of Western Indonesia Time has been enlivened by a fierce duel between Inter Milan and Atalanta.
Thanks to center-back Iter Milan Skriniar’s goal, Inter Milan managed to win Atlanta by a narrow score of 1-0. This victory makes Inter always earn seven points in the last seven matches of the Italian League. They are getting stronger at the top of the standings with 62 points.
Meanwhile, Atalanta failed to return to the top four and had to settle for fifth because they only got 49 points.
Compete at the Giuseppe Meazza, Inter Milan almost took the lead in the 17th minute. Atalanta defender Christian Romero made a mistake on the backpass and nearly killed himself. Fortunately the ball was cleared by goalkeeper Marco Sportiello.
Atalanta is also not without opportunities. Duvan Zapata almost found Inter’s goal in the 38th minute. But his header was still dammed by goalkeeper Samir Handanovic. Score glasses last until pause.
Nine minutes after halftime, Inter Milan were finally ahead. Skriniar scored using a chaotic goal in the Atalanta penalty box from a corner kick.
Atalanta desperately tried to equalize the score. Zapata again wasted a chance on 67 minutes. His shot misses the target.
A few minutes later Atalanta again threatened through Luis Muriel. Handanovic can still secure his kick.
Until the long whistle blew, Atalanta still failed to score a return goal against Inter.
