Slovakia stuns Lewandowski & Poland beating them by 2-1 in Euro 2020

Slovakia beats Poland 2-1: In Group D, goalkeeper Wozniacki’s Chesapeake’s own goal and Milan Greenier’s goal gave Slovakia a coup victory.

Poland ‘s goal came in the 46th minute from Carol Linetti. Superstar Robert Lewandowski’s utter disfigurement led to Poland’s downfall. Slovakia were the best team in the first half. They proved it with the lead.

An own goal that stunned Poland in the 18th minute. After cutting two Polish players from the left wing into the box, a shot from Robert Mack hit the post and then dived into the net, hitting the body of the fallen goalkeeper Chesney. Poland failed to make any good moves towards the goal in the first half.

Second Half

The second half saw another face of Poland. They resumed play and saw the result in the first minute. At the end of some of the best passes, Linetti hit the net with a cross ground shot from inside the box.

The unexpected turning point came as Poland continued to gain strength in the game. Poland were reduced to 10 men after Gregos Krikovic was sent off for a second yellow card. Taking advantage of this, Slovakia returned to the game.

Slovakia regained the lead in the 69th minute through a goal from defender Crinier. He scored with a shattering left-footed shot that left the Polish players and goalie in the audience.

Poland had no answer to this goal. In the final minutes, Poland made some good moves for the equalizer, but errors in the finish set back.
