Switzerland Euro 2020: Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka leads the Switzerland side in the UEFA Euro 2020 as the final 26-man squad was announced by Petković.
Switzerland was knocked out in the 2016 edition of the UEFA Euros by Poland in the round of 16 stage.

Switzerland are one of the sides that can create trouble for the top sides as Xhaka leads his men for the continental event under the management of Vladimir Petković.
The squad is as follows:

Overview
Swiss’ defence is key to success with the likes of Mbabu and Schär coming on the back of good performances.
Shaqiri and Xhaka are the players who would aim to lead this side with heart and desire. The Swiss side managed a Round of 16 finish in the last campaign which showcases they could well be the side who threaten against the top sides.
The performances of their mid-fielders in their respective leagues are a massive boost for the Swiss while their forwards Gavranovic and Seferovic were fantastic for Dinamo Zagreb and Benfica as he scored 17 and 22 goals respectively for their sides.
And would aim to replicate the form for the Swiss side in the upcoming delayed Euro 2020.

Switzerland is in Group A along with the likes of Italy, Wales and Turkey.

17th June: Italy vs Switzerland (12:30 AM IST)
20th June: Switzerland vs Turkey (09:30 PM IST)
Rome and Baku are set to host the group A matches.
Switzerland face Liechtenstein in their practice match on 3rd June before they get the competition underway.
