Most International Goals In Football: Sunil Chhetri scored a brace in India’s 2-0 win over Bangladesh and overtook Lionel Messi to register the second highest international goals.

The Indian captain took his tally to 74 goals in India’s victory and registered their  first win in the AFC World Cup 2022 Qualification campaign.

Chhetri is now only second to Cristiano Ronaldo in the list of most international goals scored as he struck in the 79^th and 90^th minute.

India reached the 3^rd spot in the Qualification group behind Qatar and Oman. The Blue tigers have registered 6 points from 7 matches.

The U.A.E international has scored 73 goals and is the country’s all time leading goal scorer. He has done so in 90 appearances.

Lionel Messi – 72 Goals 

The Argentina captain has notched up 72 goals for the country in 142 appearances as he continues to inspire with his skills and brilliance.

Robert Lewandowski – 66 Goals

Lewandowski has scored 66 goals in 118 appearances for Poland in his 13-year international career. He captains the Polish side.
