The Portuguese was relieved off his duties and has been shown the door after only being in charge for 17 months.
Tottenham has barely managed a good of results in recent times and was one of the reasons why Jose Mourinho was relieved from his job.

Spurs called him and felt he would be the man to take them to personal glory but ALAS not to be.
With Jose Mourinho sacked, a number of clubs could be waiting for the opportunity to have the Portuguese on board.
