Most saves in EPL 2021: The Premier League returned to full capacity this season with the return of fans and the spectacle began in all its glory.

Apart from the goals, impressive and intricate plays that have panned out in the short-season till now, once again the keepers have stolen the show with the magnificent use of their skilled hands.

The EPL 2021 has completed 5 Matchdays and we have seen the goalkeepers play a massive part in the thrilling start to the season.

We let you know which keepers have made the most saves in the EPL 2021 as of Matchday 5 and hope to keep their form and consistent on top for the rest of the season.

ImageThe Crystal Palace keeper has made 16 saves till date this season and has spared the blushes for the Eagles.

Crystal Palace hasn’t begun the season well under new manager, Vieira and have picked up only 5 points from 5 matches.

But they would be happy with the confidence and skillset shown between the sticks by Guaita.

The Spanish international has kept 2 clean-sheets and conceded 8 goals.

His best performances came against Tottenham and Brentford in the EPL.

The Chelsea goalkeeper has been at the fore-front of his side’s success this season.

Mendy has used the Champions League success last season where he created an impact in helping Chelsea lift their 2nd title.

This season too Mendy has begun his season well and made 16 saves for the Blues.

Out of the 4 matches, he has kept clean sheets in 3 of them and excelled at various stage of matches.

Kasper Schmeichel

The Danish goalkeeper has made 19 saves for Leicester this season and has starred for the Foxes after his fantastic performances during the Euro 2020.

With a sole clean-sheet in five matches, Schmeichel would like to improve his performances.

But the Foxes would be elated to see the positive start that their No 1 has made to this season.

Hugo Lloris

He played a starring role in Spurs’ first three matches of the season where they won all of them by a margin of 1-0.

Lloris has the experience and mastery of many years which adds to his repertoire and remains the standout performer for Spurs.

Illan Meslier

ImageThe 21-year-old Frenchman has made the most saves in EPL 2021 till date with 22 of them.

Leeds United have been poor this season with the start of the season but Meslier’s performances has remained the silver lining for them.

A reason for topping this table would be Leeds woeful defence but with their last man in prime form, Bielsa has one for the future in his ranks.
