Tottenham faces North London rivals, Arsenal in their final pre-season friendly match on Sunday as they hope to finish on a high heading into the PL season next week.
Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw against Chelsea in their previous pre-season match on Thursday.
Ziyech’s brace was cancelled out by Moura and Bergwijn’s strikes as both sides shared the spoils.
On the other hand, Arsenal continued their inconsistent pre-season preparations with a 2-1 loss to London rivals, Chelsea in their last match.
Havertz broke the deadlock for the Blues before Xhaka scored the equalizer but Abraham popped up to score the winning goal in the 72nd minute as Arsenal were beaten once again.
This is Arsenal’s final match as well before their curtain raiser against Brentford on 14th August in the Premier League.
Arteta will be desperate to get a win before heading into the official season as his side is yet to win in pre-season.
This match may not have the enthusiasm of a domestic league or competition match but with fans back during such times, it will be a sight to see.
The last time both sides met, Arsenal edged the contest 2-1 at home in the Premier League last season.
Lamela opened the scoring for Spurs with a Rabona before Odegaard and Lacazette’s goals ensured Arsenal completed the comeback and got the points.
