Yesterday Triple H announced that he has retired as a professional wrestler. “The Game” has definitely hung up his boots after suffering viral pneumonia that forced him to undergo surgery.
Former WWE Champion revealed that he has a defibrillator in his chest and will no longer be able to actively compete in the ring.
The wrestling world has reacted to the news by thanking the WWE Hall of Famer for his contribution to the professional wrestling business.
During his interview with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s “Stephen A’s World,” Triple H revealed new details about his health and his future in WWE.

“I was already at a point in my career, ring-wise, where I felt comfortable being finished and finished.
If the time was right, I hadn’t said much, but if the time was right and they wanted me to … I had a conversation with Vince McMahon about doing something at WrestleMania this year in Dallas.

Triple H did not specify what the exact plans were for him ahead of WrestleMania 38. On the other hand, when asked what his future is in wrestling.
The former wrestler revealed that he has returned to the office and is now focused on the search for the next WWE Superstar.
About his present and his future
“I haven’t taken my foot off the gas. Somehow I have to back off a little bit, I’m still on the mend and my stamina is not what it used to be.
I’m back in the office. I’m fully focused on recruiting and developing our talents for the future.

Before his heart problems forced him to abandon his professional work, Triple H was in charge of directing NXT.
In his absence, the development brand underwent a complete facelift, both visually and functionally.
