Denmark 0-0 Tunisia: Tunisia put in a desirous performance as they held Denmark to a goalless draw in their opening WC match on Tuesday.
It was a fiercely contested game with both sides having their chances. However, a goalless draw seemed a fair result from the proceedings.
FIRST HALF
Tunisia began the half as the better side and were on top of Denmark right from the off. Their energetic pressing style and defensive commitment was a testament to their hard-work.
The African side had an early chance from Drager’s shot but it missed the target.
Schmeichel made his first save of the game close to half-time as he denied Jebali’s chip from close range in a one-on-one.
Denmark struggled to keep up with the pace of Tunisia and were relieved with the half-time whistle.

SECOND HALF

Eriksen has a solid effort denied by the Tunisian keeper, Dehmen before Cornelius missed a sitter from absolute close range.
The FC Copenhagen player reached Christensen’s knock down but his header hit the post.
There was a late call for a penalty for Denmark, but it was not to be as Tunisia held on for an important point.
