Turkey vs Italy: Roberto Mancini’s new course at the helm of Italy starts today with a new-look attack featuring Nicolò Zaniolo, Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori.
The Azzurri face Turkey in a friendly match tonight (12:15 AM IST) after facing elimination from the World Cup play-offs. Many thought it could have been Mancini’s last match in charge of the Azzurri, but the CT confirmed at a press conference yesterday that he’d remain at the helm.

Nine players of the initial 33-man squad have pulled out of the team: Ciro Immobile, Lorenzo Insigne, Jorginho, Marco Verratti, Domenico Berardi, Gianluca Mancini, Luiz Felipe, Alessandro Florenzi and Matteo Politano. The remaining 24 are available.
Zaniolo, Scamacca and Raspadori will start up front. Milan star Sandro Tonali will also get the nod in the middle of the park, while Giorgio Chiellini will play one of his last matches with the Azzurri shirt. His final international game should be in June against Argentina at Wembley Stadium.
