Everyone seemed to gel in and make a difference to the setup. The puzzle was slowly taking shape and was complete by the time Man City reached the end of the season as they became champions.

A shot at the title in their first final could well open doors to many possibilities.

Tuchel revamped the Chelsea side once he took over from Lampard and the Blues have become a side to not take lightly.

The London club finished table toppers as well and qualified to Round of 16 where they faced Simeone’s Atlético Madrid.

A 3-0 win over them booked their place in the quarters against Porto.

It was a well-fought encounter over 2 legs which Chelsea edged 2-1 on aggregate to get to the semi-finals.

The Blues convincingly and tactically beat Real Madrid in the semi-finals to get to their 2^nd ever UCL final.

After 2012 triumph in Germany, Chelsea has the chance to win their 2^nd ever UCL title with Porto being the final stop.
