Manchester City beats PSG: Man City underwent a visit to PSG headquarters in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final, Thursday (29/4/2021) in the morning IST. In the duel at the Parc des Princes, Man City won 2-1.
Man City conceded first in the 15th minute from Marquinos’ header. Man City just got up in the second half. The return goal came within seven minutes of vulnerability through Kevin De Bruyne and Riyad Mahrez.
PSG’s Nightmare
Kevin De Bruyne found the PSG goal in the 64th minute. This goal made the score 1-1. After this goal, Man City became more confident and got the second goal in the 71st minute.
Kevin De Bruyne’s goal process was quite unique. The Belgian player looks more like he intends to take off the cross than the shots on goal. However, PSG’s rearguard failed to anticipate properly.

Two other meetings with De Bruyne against PSG took place in the 2015/2016 season. At that time, Man City met PSG in the Champions League quarter-finals. De Bruyne scored one goal, both in the first and second leg.

For the record, all the goals that Kevin De Bruyne scored against PSG came from the right foot. De Bruyne has been known to have excellent skills with his right foot.
At the 2015/2016 season meeting, Man City drew 2-2 in the first leg match in Paris. De Bruyne scored the goal that brought Man City 1-0 ahead.
